Welcome user 38.107.191.111 and congratualtions on the 0'th visit from this location! We haven't seen you since .

This webpage is the central part of our research project on rfid and ubiquitous computing. We've started this project in order to document the dawning age of ubiquitous computing and to explain some of the issues this new technology imposes.

ubiquitous computing is one of the terms used to describe a new way of human interaction with computers and intelligent systems. Other terms include gone computing, calm technology and various usages of the word smart. At the core of this development lies ubquitousness, meaning you'r not neccesarily aware of taking part in vast computer networks. This invokes lot's of questions on how to design such systems and most importantly how to secure our pricacy. While these developments are rapidly entering our everyday life most people don't realise what the concequences could be.

Over the past year we spoke to some of the leading experts and critics in the field of ubiquitous computing. These interviews have been compiled to what we like to call "infomania", a short documentary explaining what is going on, how to design such systems and what you can expect from it.

Apart from the documentary we present lot's of clips taken from the footage, links and our record on headlines from various newspapers and internet sites. Just to keep everyone informed...

Thanks for visiting our project's website,
